Averill's Sharper Uniforms is a strong believer in Philanthropy and Community Service. Our team gets much satisfaction in giving back to our local community.
We are heavily involved with the Massachusetts Restaurant Association (MRA) and their Educational Foundation. Every year the Educational Foundation sponsors the ProStart invitational which includes a Culinary and Restaurant Management competition for Massachusetts high schools. Sharper Uniforms has been sponsoring the culinary competition with embroidered chef coats for many years. We have also volunteered our time as competition judges and assistants with the competition. We take great pleasure in sponsoring this competition every year!
Sharper Uniforms also makes donations to the Jimmy Fund which is all about fighting Cancer. In addition we make donations to local healthcare facilities and schools.
The Massachusetts Restaurant Association Educational Fund awarded Averill's Sharper Uniforms with the 2016 Leadership Award for their community involvement.
